I see this a lot on my start page here:

Seriously.  How do I know whether or not I want to be that person's friend in order to read the recommended entry if I can't read that person's blog to see if they are even the kind of person I would want as a friend?

Maybe Xanga should block recs on protected sites.  I think I'll go make that suggestion now.

My favorite is really a triptych.  Claude Monet's Water Lilies.  I was able to view this at the Museum of Modern Art in New York a few years ago (August, 2001).

My second favorite is Van Gogh's Starry Night:

I don't know why I love these two paintings.  I just do.  I have reproductions of both.
