Why Rec?
There are always a lot of recommendations in my feed, and I usually go take a look. And sometimes I’ll also recommend the blog.
And sometimes I’m not sure why the blog is recommended. But here is why I will recommend a blog:
1. The writer displays an extraordinary talent (vlog, drawing, whatever)
2. The writer makes a very poignant point about something
3. The writer made me laugh
4. The writer is an exceptional writer (makes even a boring subject interesting.)
I won’t rec a post just because everyone else is, or just because I agree with them, or just because they are popular. I am always looking for new and interesting blogs to read, and it seems the same blogs keep getting the recs in my feed. It would be cool if someone would rec something they saw that was from an unknown blogger.
That being said, do you have any recommendations for blogs that you read that while not the most popular and never on the top blogs list, are still very worthy blogs?

Recommendations are indeed good things ! It shows that your friends like
a particular post and they are encouraging THEIR friends (which
includes you) to check it out !
As
for my own stuff and recommendations, I kinna wish my novel work got a few
more recommendations, but that’s fine. I just always appreciate anyone
who visits.

Yes! Plenty of the lesser known Xangans are my favorite bloggers.
I hold some of those points you made as well..I usually rec a post if I thoroughly enjoyed it and liked what the writer had to say.
Usually when i think the writer went to more than a little trouble with a post, or said something in an exceptional or moving way. I may rec one that i agree with, but because the matter discussed is so important that even an average post deserves one.

And yes, I am very much a gamer ! I’ve been enjoying Online games for some time now and have several Window games I like to play as well, especially Samantha Swift, the Hidden Object Game.
