Visited half my family yesterday
Roger, my sister Deb and I went to the cemetery yesterday to put flowers on my sister Melanie’s grave. It would have been her 54th birthday. While we were there we also put flowers on my mom and dad’s graves (the white vase in the background with the red flowers) and my brother Rick’s grave (to the right but not visible in this picture). That is half my family. Deb tied a card to the purple balloon that said “Happy Birthday Mel, Miss you so much!” and we let it go. We watched it until it was no longer visible in the sky.
Next weekend I am having a garage sale. I decided all of my big clothes are going. No saving them “just in case” I gain the weight back. Gaining it back is not an option. Especially considering I still have 30-40 more pounds to go.

Coincidence, yesterday as I walked home, I watched a similar balloon high up in the sky pass over the neighborhood until I could no longer see it.
So sad that two of your sibs have passed away. As for giving away the fat clothes…great idea..no going back there! marilyn
