  • I was going to write, but…

I don’t feel much like it.  I’m going to take a nap instead.

I ran out of my long-acting glucose and my diabetes is going haywire and it saps all my energy.

Plus I just got back from two days staying with Mac (which really wasn’t so bad – we are, after all, still friends) because I had to spend two days at a client site 10 minutes from his (and technically my) house, but sleeping in the guest room in a twin bed – I didn’t sleep much either night.

    I’ll get back on track…

  • Get more meds!    Do you have to go see the doc to get prescription refilled?

It’s good you can stay with Mac when you have to be in Chicago.   Even though you didn’t sleep well, it’s cheaper than staying in a hotel.  LOL!   Anything happening with the house selling?

  • @ItsSuze - No, but we are inching our way towards a settlement.  Since moving to Michigan I’ve amassed a boatload of debt paying for wedding, honeymoon, Melanie’s funeral, and furnishing the house.  He is okay with me using our home equity line of credit (2.3% interest) to pay down some of my debt so that I have a lower interest loan to pay back.  I think what will end up happening is he will let that loan get about as high as my settlement would be and then offer to pay it off for me.  I told him that the main thing is to get the mortgage out of my name.  My debt to income ratio because of having two mortgage payments is pretty high.

  • Yes, I second the motion to get more meds!

You’re a much better person than I am.  No matter how friendly the relationship, I don’t think I could stay with an ex, even if the mortgage was in my name.  It would just feel too weird.

You mentioned in a xanga post last week (I think) that you could change the date of the post.  How do you do that?  I don’t think I’ve ever seen that option to post date posts.  Of course, I’m still using the old interface, so maybe that’s it.

  • @Tyche - That may be it – trying to remember off the top of my head but I think when you edit a post, at the bottom where you can enter tags is a place to change the date and time.  You can back date it, or even change the date and time of the post to the time of the edit.

  • @Tyche - Oh – something else while I have your attention LOL – did you get the notice from NaBloPoMo that they are changing sites and if you want to participate you have to go to a new site and sign up?  I’m thinking of doing it for November, if I can figure out the new site and how to have my posts show up here.

  • @SherylM - I did get that e-mail, but then did nothing about it.  Tell you what – if you do it than I’ll do it!  Writing every day isn’t an issue, it’s writing 50,000 words that will be a problem for me.

I’ll have to check out the new interface – assuming I still have the old one.  I know I still have the old private page, but I’m not sure if there is more than one way to enter a blog post.

  • @Tyche - I’ve already set up an account (SherylJ) and have started.  I still haven’t figured out how to actually connect my blog with NaBloPoMo to enter the challenge.  I do plan on doing it for the Month of November.  We’ll see from there.
