Sports guru? You decide
We’re going to the October 11 Monday night football game. First home game and it’s televised nationally. Taking my sister. She posted that she is all excited about it on facebook. My reply:
Yeah!!! Me too!!! I just LOVE the Lions! Basketball is my FAVORITE sport!!!! Woo Hoo!!! Hopefully they’ll win the Stanley Cup this year!
She posted “LMAO” Evidently she doesn’t think they stand a chance.

You will have a great time at MNF. I really enjoyed going to my first NFL game last year – the game seems like it goes so much faster when you’re there in person than it does on TV, and it’s much more interesting! One of my dreams is someday go to a Dolphins game in Miami – I guess Rick will have to work on that for me sometime.
My former SIL is a huge Lions fan, and has had season tickets for year.

@Tyche - I went to a Bears game two years ago when I was still in Chicago and they played the Lions. Of course, it was the year the Lions lost every game. They ALMOST beat the Bears, that would have been humiliating since I was calling Deb all the time and teasing her about rooting for a losing team. But one thing I found – although the excitement and atmosphere is there, I dont’ SEE enough to follow very well when I don’t have the computer enhancements you get with televised games.
@ItsSuze - I need to check with her on that. I thought through some program she was supposed to be getting a new hot water heater.
@ExLibris - LOL I really am almost that ignorant when it comes to sports.
