  • Gonna update more

I have had house guests all weekend - it's an annual gathering we have at different places and because none of us is rolling in money this year we decided to economize and have it at my house (not like I don't have the room!)  It's been a great weekend but one of my guests said I don't update enough here and she comes in every day looking for the two people she subscribes to (the other one is someone all of my readers know and is one of my dearest friends.  Unfortunately, she couldn't be here this weekend)  So I will update at least once a week - I just don't think I can post something every day.

Today we went to Frankenmuth and stopped at Bronners and the Bavarian Inn for lunch.  The food was delicious.  I haven't been here in 40 years.  While at Bronners, I saw some slippers for Roger that match the pajamas I got him for Christmas.  We left there and went to Premium Outlets of Birch Run where I stopped in my favorite outlet store and both of these for less than the suggested retail price of the wallet:

    Now we're just chillin'

  • So, I guess what your other friend is trying to say is that I post too much?    I haven't been to Frankenmuth in ages - last time must have been about 20 years ago.  I'm guessing the Bavarian Inn (I remember when you got the little stick figurines in your ice cream of a girl or a boy) and Bronner's haven't changed a bit (except maybe gotten bigger).  I want to be there next time!

And she's right.  You don't post enough!

BTW, love the purse.  I've tried finding a wallet for my new purse but they don't make them because "the purse is so small".

  • Is Frankenmuth where the Christmas shops are?  I haven't been there in years.  And I have an aunt on my dad's side that used to live there.

  • @Tyche - No, as a matter of fact, she said that she LOVES that you post every day!  I haven't been to Frankenmuth in 40 years so none of it was familiar to me.  We didn't get stick figures, we got little plastic 'cutouts' of bavarian girls.  I made Suze and Dena keep theirs as a 'free' souvenir.  They were going to toss them!  (And probably did when I wasn't looking LOL)

  • @nevragn - Yeah, it's called Bronner's.  It's a quaint little town, lots of little touristy shops.
